Invitation to Qualify
As Captive Customer Representative
Pursuant to the “Framework for the Selection of Captive Customer Representatives-Members to the Third Party Bids And Awards Committee” (“Framework”), approved by the Department of Energy (“DOE”) in its letter to the Manila Electric Company (“Meralco”) dated 10 June 2019, Meralco hereby invites all interested and qualified captive customers (each, a “Prospective Captive Customer Representative”) to submit supporting documents to qualify as Captive Customer Representatives-Members to the TPBAC, which shall spearhead and manage the competitive selection process in the procurement by Meralco of its power supply agreements for the captive market.
In order to qualify as a Captive Customer Representative-Member, a Prospective Captive Customer Representative must submit to the TPBAC–Selection Committee secretary (located at 7th Floor, Lopez Building, MERALCO Compound, Ortigas Center, Pasig City), on or before 5:00 o’clock in the afternoon of 19 June 2019 (the “Submission Deadline”), an envelope containing its: (a) qualification documents, to demonstrate its compliance with all the qualification requirements; and (b) accomplished Form of Confidentiality Undertaking (For TPBAC Members). The list of the requirements and Form of Confidentiality Undertaking (For TPBAC Members), in the form and substance acceptable to Meralco, may be viewed on Meralco’s website at (https://www.meralco.com.ph).
Late submissions and requests for additional time shall not be accepted/allowed.
 Submission must be done during office hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Excludes Saturday and Sunday.
