Know More About FIT-All

1. What is FIT-All charge?

The Feed-In-Tariff Allowance (FIT-All) is a uniform charge (in PhP per kWh) imposed on all electricity end-users to support the development of renewable energy sources in the country. The FIT-All collected by Distribution Utilities (DUs), such as Meralco, is remitted in full to the National Transmission Corporation (TransCo), the government-owned and controlled corporation designated as FIT-All fund administrator. Since FIT-All is a pass-through charge, DUs do not earn from this charge.

The FIT-All can be found in this section of the bill:

2. Why am I charged for this?

In line with the Feed-in-Tariff (FiT) Rules, electricity consumers who are supplied with electricity through the distribution or transmission network shall share in the cost of the FITs in part through a uniform charge (in PhP per kWh), referred to as the FIT-All, and applied to all billed kWh.

The FIT-All charge is set annually by the ERC based on the petition by TransCo, which is tasked with the settlement of the FiTs of the Eligible Renewable Energy Plants.

The FIT-All charge has been applied to all electricity end-users starting with the February 2015 bills.

3. Who are billed with FIT-All charge?

The FIT-All charge will be reflected in the bill of ALL customers – residential, commercial and industrial.

4. How much is the FIT-All charge included in my bill?

Beginning the November 2025 billing month, customers are charged with the ERC-approved FIT-All rate of PhP0.2073/kWh.

For residential customers consuming 200 kWh, this is equivalent to PhP41.46.

5. Why is there an increase in the FIT-All charges in November 2025?

The PhP0.0884 per kWh increase in the FIT-All charge is in accordance with the Energy Regulatory Commission’s (ERC) directive to collecting agents nationwide to implement a new FIT-All rate.
