1. I live in an area under a state of calamity. Why wasn’t I allowed to avail of the installment payment? +
For areas under a state of calamity due to storms Crising, Dante, Emong and Habagat, installment payment of up to 3 months only applies to bills dated Jul 19 to Aug 31, 2025, for customers with monthly consumption of up to 100 kWh. If your consumption is more than 100kWh, or if your bill date is not within the period covered, you may not be allowed to avail of installment payment.

3. How do I know if I am eligible to avail of up to 3 months installment payment?+
You may request for this if your monthly kWh consumption is 100 kWh and below. You can find your monthly kWh consumption in the upper left corner of your bill.
4. My July bill is 100 kWh or below, but my August bill is above 100 kWh (or vice versa), can I avail of 3 months installment payment for both bills?+
Installment payment for up to 3 months applies only to bills with consumption of up to 100 kWh. Bills with consumption exceeding 100 kWh may not be subjected to installment payment.

7. Can businesses avail of installment payment for 3 months?+
Business customers with a monthly consumption of up to 100 kWh can avail of installment payment.
8. I already have an existing installment payment agreement (IPA) with Meralco, may I still avail of another installment payment for 3 months?+
Yes, you may still request for installment payment. We will create another agreement once you have completed the requirements.
9. What happens when I miss a payment? What happens when I pay balance in advance?+
If you fail to pay, your installment payment agreement will be cancelled. If you pay in advance, thank you, we appreciate prompt payments.
10. Will you charge interest for installment payment?+
We don’t charge interest for installment payment.
11. I availed of 3 months installment payment. Where can I pay?+
For customers with unpaid older bills:Please make sure to settle all your unpaid bills at any Meralco Business Center. If you can’t and will have to pay in other channels, please inform us via FB messenger or hotline (02) 16211 so we can monitor and reallocate it to your installment payment, instead of your older bill/s.
For customers with no unpaid older bills:Payments may be made through any Meralco Business Center or
authorized payment partner with real-time payment posting before the installment due date.
12. Until when can I request for installment payment?+
You may request for installment payment until August 31 or the due date of your August bill, whichever is later. Requests after this date may no longer be accommodated.
13. When will you resume disconnections?+
For bills not covered by the ERC advisory, we can resume disconnection anytime. But for bills dated July 19 to Aug 31, we will start issuing a 48-hour disconnection notice by October 1.
