We collect your name, address, employee number, job title/position, company/office, contact number, email address, and signature solely to facilitate action on the Violation of Corporate Governance Rules and/or Retaliation Protection report you have submitted. These are accessed by Corporate Governance Office who hold such information under strict confidentiality. These are retained while any of the involved parties is employed in Meralco and shall be disposed of accordingly thereafter.

MERALCO supports SIGLO, UP entry to Shell Eco Marathon Asia

Team UP-Dagisik wins 1st place in the Urban Concept Battery Electric Category in the recently concluded Shell Eco Marathon (SEM) Philippines held at the Clark International Speedway. The Shell Eco-marathon competition challenges student teams around the world to design, build and drive the most energy-efficient cars. The car “SIGLO” achieved a mileage of 110 km/kwh, almost double last year’s mileage, surpassing all recent SEMA records in the said category.

SIGLO is supported by Meralco through the Meralco Power Academy, as its advocacy in developing the best engineering talents of the country. UP will compete in the Shell Eco-marathon Asia in Singapore on March 16 - 19, 2017 with the goal to qualify in the World Driver’s Championship in London on May 28, 2017.

Present at the unveiling of SIGLO were Tito Aliga of the UPERDFI, Dean Rizalinda de Leon of UP College of Engineering, UPEEEI Director Richard Hizon and Agnes Fidelino, Head of Business Development and Marketing of Meralco Power Academy
