Thank you for your interest in instituting good governance practice in Meralco

If you are aware of any violation of the following corporate governance rules, committed by any our directors, officers or employees, related to the following:

  • Violation of the Corporate Governance Rules
  • Violation of the Code of Ethics and Company Code of Employee Discipline or other similar codes
  • Financial Malfeasance including those relating to financial fraud and questionable accounting and auditing matters

Meralco values your privacy.

We collect your name, address, employee number, job title/position, company/office, contact number, email address, and signature solely to facilitate action on the Violation of Corporate Governance Rules and/or Retaliation Protection report you have submitted. These are accessed by Corporate Governance Office who hold such information under strict confidentiality. These are retained while any of the involved parties is employed in Meralco and shall be disposed of accordingly thereafter.

June Delayed Bills FAQs

1. I have not yet received my Meralco bill for June. Why is my June bill not reflected in my Meralco Online Account? Where is my bill?

Rates should have increased due to higher transmission and FIT-All charges, and generation costs due to the tight supply in Luzon. But Meralco worked with its suppliers to defer a portion of generation costs. ERC also directed distribution utilities to divide WESM charges into 4 equal parts to be billed starting June to September.

 

These adjustments resulted in the delayed delivery of our June 2024 bills. Rest assured, your due date for the month will be adjusted to provide enough time for payment.

2. Will you adjust my due date given this delay?

Yes. The due date for the June 2024 bill will be adjusted to follow our standard due dates per month, which is 9 days after your bill date (see Bill Date under ‘Your Electric Bill’ section on the front page of your Meralco bill)

3. How much is the rate adjustment and how will this affect my bill?

4. How will the deferment of the rate adjustments affect my bill for the next three months?

The deferred generation costs and rate will be distributed over your bills in four months starting June to September. Please expect your next bills to reflect the deferred rate on top of the rates charged for the said months.

5. I am enrolled in auto-payment, will there also be a delay in the charging of the Meralco bill to my credit card/bank account?

Yes, your auto-payment will be charged upon generation of your bill. We apologize for this delay as we worked with our suppliers and ERC to defer a portion of generation costs for the next months. Rest assured, your due date for the month will be adjusted to provide enough time for payment.

6. When will the delayed bill be delivered?

The first batch of June billings are set to be delivered on June 15. Kindly expect your June bills to be delivered in the next two weeks.

7. Where do I find the deferred rates in my bills?

The deferred rate will already be applied together with your rate for July, August, and September.
